Hampton Roads podiatrist Dr. Matthew Dairman was born and raised in New Jersey. He graduated from Skidmore College with Honors in Biology and then earned a Masters in Epidemiology from the University at Albany School of Public Health. He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine with Honors from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, where he was recognized as a Swanson Foundation Independent Scholar, inducted into the Durlacher Honor Society, and earned a place in the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. Dr. Dairman completed his residency training at the North Colorado Medical Center Podiatric Surgical Residency, where he served as Chief Resident from 2001-2002.
Dr. Dairman trained with both podiatric and orthopaedic surgeons during this residency, enabling him to cultivate his didactic and surgical skills from both podiatric and orthopaedic philosophies. He specializes in the conservative and surgical management of the foot and ankle with a particular interest in podiatric biomechanics, heel pain, foot and ankle dermatology, peripheral nerve surgery, and forefoot reconstructive surgery, as well as the ailments of the diabetic foot. Named a Media Spokesperson for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Dairman enjoys lecturing and educating the community on all foot health issues.
Dr. Dairman is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, American Society of Podiatric Surgery, Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons, and American Professional Wound Care Association. He is an active member of the American, Virginia and Hampton Roads Podiatric Medical Associations, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He has been named one of America’s Top Podiatrists.
Outside of the Suffolk podiatry office, Dr. Dairman likes to spend time with family and friends. He became an official transplant to Suffolk and Hampton Roads with the birth of his daughter, Lucy. When time permits, he enjoys tennis, running, hiking, and disc golf. He receives regular pedicures, plays the ukulele for relaxation, and dabbles in graphic design.

Hampton Roads Podiatrist, Marc A. Barbella, DPM FACFAS
Hampton Roads podiatrist Dr. Barbella is native of Philadelphia and had lived in Southern New Jersey for most of the past 35 years. As an undergraduate, Dr. Barbella attended both Temple University and Rowan University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his Doctorate at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with honors. There he was a recipient of the Langer Biomechanics Group Award for Excellence in Clinical Orthopedics and Biomechanics. He also was inducted into the Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor Society and The Sterling-Harford Anatomical Honor Society for his academic achievements. He completed his Post Graduate Program in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at Rutgers University, New Jersey School of Medicine-University Hospital in Newark, NJ.
Prior to joining 1Foot 2Foot, Dr. Barbella had been in private practice in Medford, NJ, since 1999. Dr. Barbella is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgery and the American Professional Wound Care Association. He provides expert care in the realm of foot and ankle surgery, wound care and limb salvage, diabetic foot care, sports medicine and biomechanics, orthotic management, foot & ankle trauma, as well as general podiatry. Dr. Barbella’s treatment philosophy focuses on individualized conservative and surgical treatment.
Dr. Barbella enjoys spending time with his family and cooking. He also enjoys gardening, golf, fishing, and shooting sports.

Hampton Roads Podiatrist, Chantel M. Pinnock, DPM AACFAS
Hampton Roads podiatrist Dr. Pinnock was born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised by a military family, spending the majority of her childhood in Orange Park, Florida. She received a full academic scholarship to Norfolk State University, where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry. She continued her education in Philadelphia, receiving her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Pinnock completed a 3-year residency at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, Florida, with a certification in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. She has experience working with various populations, both stateside and internationally, utilizing both conservative and surgical treatment protocols to help her patients with numerous foot and ankle ailments.
Dr. Pinnock specializes in sports medicine, foot and ankle injuries, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery with particular interest and experience in external fixation techniques. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Outside of practice, Dr. Pinnock is an avid sports fan and enjoys mentoring in the community.

Hampton Roads Podiatrist, Eric Moffett, DPM AACFAS
Hampton Roads podiatrist Dr. Eric Moffett was born and raised in central Florida. He attended the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Afterwards he was accepted into the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where he served as Class President and chair of several student run committees. During his final year of school, Dr. Moffett completed rotations at hospitals across the nation to understand the different approaches to podiatric medicine in each region.
Dr. Moffett recently completed an intense foot and ankle residency at St. Vincent Health Systems in Indianapolis, IN. The main hospital, a 1,000-bed Level I trauma center, provided an exceptional education in trauma, diabetic foot care, foot and ankle reconstruction, as well as wound care and limb salvage. This included training with Pediatric Orthopedic surgeons from Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, as well as surgeons from the Riley Hospital for Children. Serving as Chief Resident in his third year, Dr. Moffett placed a large focus on academics with all his fellow Podiatry residents while also lecturing to the Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residents about foot and ankle pathologies. He was active in the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association, giving resident lectures on various topics and participating in numerous health fairs.
When he is not at work, Dr. Moffett enjoys spending time with his wife and son. Being new to the area, his family is very excited to explore. They are big fans of the zoo and the aquarium. After moving so far from the ocean during Residency and Podiatry school, he is anxious to get back on the water and do some kayaking.
