He has been named one of America’s Top Podiatrists, and maintains fellowship with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, and Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons. His investment in the MLS laser, EPAT, and Swift Microwave Therapy technology allows patients to receive treatment for conditions that would otherwise require surgery. His passion to advance care is further satisfied as Principal Investigator for multiple foot and ankle related clinical trials. Dr. Dairman has developed the Goody2Shoes program that includes a year-round shoe drive providing shoes to those in need and has supported many local and national charities by donating $1 for every patient visit.
Dr. Dairman is from northern New Jersey. Upon graduating from Skidmore College (1994) where “Creative Thinking Matters”, Dr. Dairman completed a Masters in Epidemiology from the SUNY Albany School of Public Health and went on to attend medical school in Chicago at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine and Science graduating with honors and as a Swanson Independent Scholar in 2000. On completion of his residency, he and his very pregnant wife Wendy moved to Suffolk in 2003 where he began practice at Foot Care of Hampton Roads and wife Wendy gave birth to their daughter Lucy one month later. 1Foot 2Foot was formed in 2006 with eight employees as the first of its kind in the country to include a full-scope podiatry practice, medical-grade nail spa and comfort shoe store under one roof. The company has now grown to over 40 wonderful team members, with more expansion planned in the future to serve our community. To this end, Dr. Dairman has partnered 1Foot 2Foot with the world renowned Weil Foot and Ankle Institute, serving as their Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, bringing enhanced opportunities to both team members and patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Dairman is an avid 5k runner, dabbles in yoga and meditation, enjoys a game of pickleball and can sometimes be found on the disc golf course. He also serves as a business consultant, coach and mentor to podiatry practices across the country through Foot and Ankle Business Innovations. A lesser known fact is that Dr. Dairman is quite the renaissance man – a sporadic actor and singer, ukulele and piano player, and digital artist/graphic designer by hobby using the 1Foot 2Foot facilities as his personal gallery. His art has gained national recognition and brightens up offices around the country with his vibrant use of color.
